Why has my postgraduate application been referred to the Programme Director?

If you do not automatically meet our entry requirmenets then we might need to refer your application to the Programme Director for individual academic consideration.

The Programme Director will consider all aspects of your application, including all your qualifications, so it is most important to list them all, even incomplete qualifications should be included if you are unsure of your eligibility.

All relevant work experience should be included, together with your reasons for applying for this programme. However, it should be appreciated that applications are rarely accepted by us on the basis of age and/or work experience alone.

Evidence of recent study is usually required. The Programme Director may recommend that you be given an offer for a lower related award which once completed can be used towards the related postgraduate qualification.
