Help CenterIf you have forgotten your password or are unable to locate it, please follow these steps to reset your password.
When you access the student portal, you will need to click on the 'Sign In' button.
You will then need to click on Forgotten Password or Cannot Access Your Account
You will then need to click on the 'Work or School account' button.
Enter your username (e.g., ab999@london.ac.uk) in the username field, and complete the captcha security verification code.
Please note: Your username for the Student Portal is not your University of London issued email address (e.g. ab999@student.london.ac.uk); and you MUST use the '@london.ac.uk' suffix, so if your username is ab999 your username will be ab999@london.ac.uk
Unsure of your username?
We often quote your username on key university emails so check there first if you are unsure of your username. If you are a new student then you should receive your username via email prior to you registering so please check your junk-mail folder if you have not received this email.
Note:
If the following screen appears, it means you are not registered for self-service password reset. Please contact us by clicking the Help link on the Portal login page where you will be able to contact our Enquiry Hub.
To verify your identity, you will receive an email from Microsoft with a verification code sent to your password recovery email address.
Enter the verification code.
If the verification code is correct, you will be given the opportunity to change your password.
Please note your password should: -
- NOT contain your name or username.
- Contain at least 3 of these character types:
- Lowercase characters (a-z)
- Uppercase characters (A-Z)
- Numeric characters (0-9)
- Special characters
Once you successfully change the password, you will receive a notification email and you should then be able to log in to the Student Portal with your new password.
